Jo Elaine Aisporna, PT, DPT, CLT, CFPS

Owner/Clinical Director

Dr. Jo Aisporna has been doing physical therapy for more than 20 years. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy at De La Salle University-HSC in 2001 and earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy at Loma Linda University having achieved academic excellence with honors. Dr. Jo did her clinical training in the states of California and New York, earning licenses for both states. She has vast experience in Acute Care, Home Health, Outpatient, and hospital settings. She is a certified Lymphedema Specialist from the Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy, certified Fall Prevention Specialist, and certified Pilates instructor.

Dr. Jo specializes in manual therapy using various techniques such as the Mulligan approach, Cyriax approach, HVT Manipulation, and Cailliet approach. She is an expert in treating patients with chronic conditions by combining evidence-based advances in physical therapy with a holistic approach, including nutrition and cognitive behavioral training.

As a former track and field athlete, Dr. Jo understands sports injuries. She is very passionate about the work she does, and her happiness lies in seeing her patients reach full recovery to go back to doing the things they love. Outside of work, Dr. Jo enjoys being outdoors camping, skiing, kayaking, hiking, running marathons with her family, and snorkeling. She also enjoys spending time with her family and pets and loves to go to the Wild Animal Park. When she’s alone, she enjoys cooking, painting, playing the piano, gardening and collecting exotic plants. If she has time, she would like to go back to doing scrapbooking. Despite her hectic schedule, she still finds time to be involved in her community, such as volunteering at church, Chaparral High School, and Girl Scouts. Fluent in both English and Tagalog.

Dr. Jo is a member of the American Association of Physical Therapy, Private Practice Section (PPS), Orthopedic and Neurologic Section.


Galen Aisporna, RN

Administrator

Galen currently works full time as a licensed registered nurse at Riverside Community Hospital since 2004 and works part time as a administrator at Demetrios Spine and Wellness Physical Therapy. He helps out as a receptionist, scheduler, office clerk, insurance verifier, and biller.

In his free time, he loves watching the news, playing chess, playing the piano, reading, and eating (like a Hobbit). He enjoys spending time with his family and trying to catch up with his wife and daughter (who are very active).
